Taking on the three days of "Life of a Teacher" as a learner teacher was enlightening. It gave me a better grasp of the field and enabled me to put myself in the shoes of a real teacher in both Blocks 1 and 2.

Completing the three days of "Life of a Teacher" was difficult, but also very fulfilling. It was an invaluable chance to obtain real-world, hands-on classroom experience. It takes a lot of work, time, and devotion to organize lessons, oversee a class of learners, and handle daily duties associated with teaching. I had to carefully plan and arrange my duties, set priorities for my obligations, and use my time wisely in order to handle the workload. Throughout this process, my mentor teacher's support and advice were really helpful in giving me the criticism and help I needed.

There was an apparent difference between Block 1 and Block 2 in terms of taking on teaching duties. As I was still getting used to the position in Block 1, I felt like I needed some direction from my mentor teacher. In contrast, Block 2 gave me greater freedom to organize and carry out lessons independently and with more initiative. I felt more in control of the classroom, and it was progress in my professional development.

Managing classroom conduct and customizing instruction for each child were the most difficult tasks. It was a constant challenge to deal with the variety of learning styles, behaviours, and skills that I experienced. I asked my mentor teacher for assistance on how to deal with these obstacles and applied the classroom management techniques I had studied at Varsity. I also made an effort to get to know my learners better so that I could better understand their unique requirements and adjust my teaching style accordingly.

Through the "Life of a Teacher" days, I improved my competencies in several ways.

Lesson Planning: I improved my ability to create lessons that met the needs and styles of a wide range of learners, giving every learner the best chance to excel.

Content Knowledge: By consistently looking for new sources and adjusting my lesson plans to make them more interesting and relevant, I was able to get a deeper understanding of the subject.

Communication: Daily interactions with parents, colleagues, and learners helped me develop my communication skills, which are crucial for fostering a supportive and productive learning environment.

Classroom Management: I've developed a number of strategies over the years to keep my classroom well-managed, which is essential for efficient teaching and learning.

My experience with the "Life of a Teacher" component was crucial to my development as a learner teacher. It tested me in many ways, but it also gave me priceless knowledge, abilities, and self-assurance that I could be a successful teacher. I'm appreciative of my mentor teacher's support and advice, as well as the chance this experience gave me to advance both personally and professionally.

It is great that you used the advice and guidance that your mentor teacher gave you in order for you to get the best experience possible. And it is good to see that you are taking what you have learned from this and applying it to the way that you see yourself as a teacher and how you plan to teach one day
